Welcome to the VisQual Method Box of the DFG-Network “Visualisation of Qualitative Geographies”
Welcome to the pages of the Visqual-Methodbox. Here, those interested in aspects of visualising qualitative research data will find an introductory overview of established approaches and methods. The Methodbox is aimed at students and mid-level researchers, and presents selected approaches to visualisation with methodological and disciplinary backgrounds, basic procedures, examples and literature references. Please use either the full text search or the categories in the sidebar to find concrete methods that fit your interests.
The Methodbox was developed by the DFG network on “Visualising Qualitative Geographies” (2021 – 2023; hosted by the Leibniz Institut for Regional Geography and the TU Dresden) and a large number of other author:s, and has been freely accessible since March 2024. It is in continuous expansion.
